Two weeks on, one paid week off | Accommodation and vehicle provided | Work across remote communities and metro Darwin
Are you a mid-career or senior Occupational Therapist after genuine variety, complex clinical work, and a role where your skills are truly valued? This is a FIFO opportunity based out of Darwin, working across some of the most meaningful caseloads in the country.
About the Role
Based out of our Darwin/Garramilla office, you'll work within a multidisciplinary team delivering therapy and assessment across clinic, community and remote outreach settings, including Arnhem Land, the Tiwi Islands and the greater Darwin region. Your caseload is tailored to your experience, interests and professional goals. You won't be expected to cover every area of practice, just meaningful, manageable work that suits your expertise.
How the FIFO Model Works
This is a true FIFO role. You'll work a two-week swing on rotation, then take a full week off that is paid. During school holidays your swing shifts to working from home, so the role flexes around the calendar.
Your on-swing runs on compressed hours, longer days while you're out in community, which means your total hours across each cycle sit below a standard full-time load while you're still paid for your week off. Flights, accommodation and a vehicle are provided while you're on rotation, and travel is scheduled within working days, so your weekends stay your own. At least one remote region is visited each swing.
