About the role
In your new role of hatchery assistant, you will support the team in:
- lean and maintain hatchery equipment and machinery
- Help operate hatchery incubators, hatchers, and other equipment
- Monitor hatchery temperature, humidity, and ventilation for optimal hatching conditions
- Help deliver healthy chicks to production facilities in a timely manner
- Keep accurate hatchery records and data
- Observe safety regulations and procedures to maintain a safe working environment
About you
As a hatchery assistant, you will bring hands-on experience working in a quick-paced production environment. In addition, you will have:
- No previous experience necessary, training will be provided
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
- Physically fit and able to lift and move equipment
- Willing to work flexible hours including weekends and public holidays
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work well in a team environment
