Deputy Chief Executive Officer
Job Description:
This role offers a unique opportunity to lead strategic planning, reform programs, and initiatives in a large and complex operating environment. As Deputy Chief Executive Strategy, Programs and Enabling Services, you will provide strategy leadership and management to develop and implement the Department's strategic priorities and enable its reform agenda.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide fiscal oversight and quality assurance for the delivery of high-quality services
* Develop the Department's strategy and strategic settings to meet the needs of local communities and address systemic challenges
* Commission services designed to improve the lives of all Territorians
* Lead and embed governance, assurance, and continuous improvement activities to enable evidence-based frontline services
* Oversee the implementation of strategic programs, policies, and reform initiatives
* Provide high-level strategic advice to senior leaders on program strategies, fiscal and operational performance, and reform initiatives
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will require demonstrated success leading a large multi-disciplinary team in a complex operating environment. You must have proven experience in workforce development and fiscal management, as well as a strong understanding of current and emerging social, economic, and policy issues that impact the Northern Territory.
