Assistant Field Service Engineer – Intern
Location: Lane Cove West, New South Wales, Australia (remote). Position is part of the Field Service department located in Sydney.
Radiometer, a Danaher Diagnostics company, is committed to improving global healthcare with reliable, fast, and easy patient diagnoses. In this role you will support the provision of engineering maintenance support services to our customer base in New South Wales, working closely with the State Service Engineer and supervised by the Service Team Leader.
In This Role, You Will Have The Opportunity To
* Perform service work and maintain technical knowledge across devices.
* Conduct annual and semi-annual servicing on all installed analysers in line with the documented Preventative Maintenance schedule.
* Ensure all unplanned or on‑demand analyser service is performed in accordance with the customer's Service Agreement and relevant RPAC processes.
The Essential Requirements Of The Job Include
* Studying towards a tertiary engineering qualification: Biomedical Engineering or Electrical & Electronic Engineering.
* Competent user across Microsoft Applications.
Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements
* Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record and access to a roadworthy vehicle insured for business purposes.
* Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to 15 kg.
It Would Be a Plus If You Also Possess Previous Experience In
* Working on electronic and/or mechanical devices.
* Working with cross‑functional teams.
