About the role
We are seeking a motivated Service Advisor / Service Writer to join our supportive team at Lancaster Motor Group. As a Service Advisor, you will be the key link between our clients and the workshop team. You'll provide exceptional customer service, manager repair orders and provide informative and professional communication to our clients.
What you'll be doing
* Greeting clients and managing service books (in person and over the phone)
* Clearly explaining vehicle service and repair requirements
* Preparing repair orders and cost/time estimates
* Leasing between clients and technicians to ensure a smooth workflow
* Upselling additional services and maintenance where appropriate
* Following up with clients to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
What we're looking for
* Strong customer service and communication skills
* Ability to build rapport and maintain professional relationships.
* Sound computer literacy (ERA, Pentana or similar systems advantageous but not necessary).
* A proactive, organised and team-oriented approach.
* Previous experience as a Service Advisor in the automotive industry preferred but not essential.
