About the Role
We are seeking an Accountant or Senior Accountant to join our growing Business Services team in Melbourne. In this role, you will contribute to high‐quality compliance and advisory work across a diverse portfolio of clients, while developing your technical capability and advancing your career in a supportive, high‐performing environment. You will work closely with Partners and Directors, gaining exposure to complex matters and contributing to impactful client outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare financial statements in line with accounting, regulatory and reporting standards across various industries.
* Prepare income tax returns for companies, trusts, individuals and family groups.
* Support tax planning initiatives and provide technical advice relating to business operations and regulatory matters.
* Deliver business and tax advisory services such as business structuring, performance improvement and growth advisory.
* Build strong relationships across the wider Business Services team and maintain exceptional service standards for clients.
Qualifications, Experience and Skills
* Experience within a professional services or public practice environment.
* Strong interest in taxation, advisory and business services.
* Excellent analytical and problem‐solving capability, with high attention to detail.
* Proactive, collaborative and client‐focused approach to work.
* Currently completing or having completed the CA or CPA qualification.
* Experience with APS and/or Xero is desirable.
