Kindergarten to Year 6 serving the Bowral Parish with an enrolment of approximately 221 pupils.
Position: temporary part time position (working Thursday's – Collaborative Planning Release) commencing 27 January 2026 until 17 December 2026.
Essential Selection Criteria
- Demonstrate a deep understanding and commitment to the mission and purpose of the Catholic School within the broader Catholic Church
- Create and maintain an orderly, safe and supportive learning setting based on the principles of PB4L
- Ability to plan for and implement effective teaching and learning across all Key Learning Areas
- Effective classroom practitioner with the ability to create a motivating and engaging learning environment
- Demonstrated ability to use data and reflection to inform teaching practice and ensure growth for all students
- Apply knowledge of the diverse needs of students to support their full participation in learning
- Use a range of assessment strategies and analyse data to inform student learning
- Demonstrate commitment to engage professionally with colleagues, parents /carers and the wider school community
Desirable Selection Criteria
- Knowledge of the NSW PD/H/PE and Science & Technology K-6 Syllabus.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
General Capabilities
- Well-developed interpersonal skills.
- Well-developed oral and written communication skills.
Qualifications
- Appropriate qualifications for teaching Primary K–6.
- Accredited Level D to teach Religious Education in accordance with To Work, Teach and Lead policy or a commitment to gain this level within the first 5 years of employment with CEDoW.
- The applicant must be accredited with NESA to teach in NSW.
Working with Children Clearance
This role is classified as child related work and therefore a Working With Children Check (WWCC) is required prior to your employment with CEDoW.
