We're Hiring | Product & Solution Engineer – C&I System Design (2 Positions)
Location: Brisbane, QLD
Salary: AUD 170,000+ plus Superannuation
Nebulas Energy Pty Ltd is expanding and seeking experienced Power Engineers to lead Commercial & Industrial (C&I) energy system design and technical solutions for the Australian market. This role suits engineers with strong independent design capability and a desire to take ownership of complex, high‐impact projects.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead end‐to‐end C&I system design, including PV, BESS, hybrid systems, LV/MV design, and grid‐connection studies
* Develop single‐line diagrams, protection schemes, cable sizing, load flow, and fault level assessments
* Attend project sites, engage directly with clients, and translate requirements into technical solutions
* Prepare technical proposals, design documentation, and cost estimates
* Provide construction support, commissioning guidance, and grid‐connection delivery
* Collaborate with China‐based technical teams on Australian standards, compliance, and application scenarios
* Support the full project lifecycle from concept to commissioning and handover
* (Optional) Mentor junior engineers and contribute to internal technical standards
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Power Engineering or related discipline
* 5+ years of relevant industry experience in C&I or utility‐scale energy systems
* Proven capability to independently deliver system designs and manage client interfaces
* Familiarity with Australian standards, DNSP requirements, and grid‐connection processes
* Experience with design tools such as PowerFactory, ETAP, SKM, PVsyst, AutoCAD (or similar)
* Willingness to travel to project sites and work directly with clients
* Legal right to work in Australia
