About the Role
In this role, you will:
Ensure consistent execution of food quality, presentation, and service standards during day-to-day operations.
Support delivery of menus designed by the Head Chef, ensuring dishes are prepared and plated as intended.
Supervise kitchen team during prep and service, providing clear direction and support.
Support sustainable kitchen practices through waste reduction and effective use of ingredients.
Ensure compliance with all Food Safety, Health, and Workplace Safety regulations.
Both the Dunsborough wine bar and the winery restaurant will be supported by our Prep Kitchen located at The Farm, at our new venue. This space will become the backbone of the wider food program, housing our fermentation and pickling projects, baking operations, preparation of produce harvested from the gardens, and the breakdown of lamb and other farm produce.
The two venues will share shifts across the Prep Kitchen, allowing team members a change of environment, more flexibility in work structure, and valuable cross‐training opportunities. The intention is to create a collaborative kitchen culture that encourages continual learning, skill development, and a stronger connection between The Farm, the produce, and the venues themselves.
