Ministry of Public Safety and Solicitor GeneralVancouver, Surrey (On-Site)Inspector$64,123.59 - $72,674.35 annuallyAt the Compliance Division, the Gaming, Policy & Enforcement Branch is home to our dynamic team of Inspectors. This established group, consisting of 4 Inspectors and 1 Manager, is known for its diverse skill set in enforcement and compliance, with a strong emphasis on conflict resolution and creative problem-solving. We value the unique perspectives each member brings, contributing to a collaborative environment that plays a crucial role in maintaining fairness in horse racing across B.C.In this role, you'll be responsible for enforcing the rules set out by the Gaming Control Act, conducting breathalyzer and drug tests, and performing inspections of barns and vehicles. Your work directly impacts the public by ensuring that horse racing remains fair and well-regulated, giving people confidence in the integrity of the sport.
