Overview
Latrobe Community Health Service is a not-for-profit health care provider focused on delivering better health and meaningful work within the community. The position is based in Morwell, Victoria, is full time, and fixed term.
As the Family Support Worker, you will be part of a program that provides intensive, short-term and community education intervention to children and their families in the Latrobe Valley, supporting children at risk of developing a mental health illness.
Responsibilities
- Work within an integrated service model alongside a range of youth services to provide holistic support for children, young people and families.
- Deliver intensive, short-term programs and community education interventions to the target population.
Qualifications
- A relevant tertiary level qualification in health, community services, behavioural or social sciences.
- A current Working with Children Check.
