Westpac has multiple Personal Banking Advisor opportunities across our Geelong, Geelong West and Waurn Ponds branches! As a Personal Banking Advisor, you'll be at the heart of our branch network, welcoming our customers to Westpac and engaging in meaningful conversations to uncover their needs and provide them with tailored banking solutions. You will utilise your product knowledge to assist customers in achieving their financial goals – both in‐person and over the phone – and refer them on to our specialised Banking teams when necessary. This is a rewarding role that will see your dedication and expertise empower customers to make the most of their money, each and every day!
These are part‐time, branch‐based roles and the rosters available are as follows:
* 32.5 hours: 9.15am – 4.15pm Monday to Friday
* 21 hours: 10am – 4.30pm Tuesday and Thursday, 11am – 3.30pm Wednesday and Friday
What do I need?
* Customer service and sales experience, ideally in a customer‐facing/phone‐based role with experience of working to targets
* Resilience, with an ability to remain calm and composed while managing challenging situations
* Comfortable in working towards sales and referral targets and calling customers over the phone
* Numerical capability, ideally with proficiency in cash handling and counting, with ability to complete financial transactions accurately
* An energetic personality coupled with a genuine passion for helping people!
* The will to learn and adapt to new banking procedures and technologies
No banking experience? No problem. Your vibrant personality, eagerness to learn and commitment to delivering an exceptional customer service are key to excel in this role.
