Position overview
Bandalang Studio is a First Nations designed and led Indigenous Engineering Design Studio within the School of Engineering, which fosters transdisciplinary collaborations and supports Indigenous researchers, practitioners, entrepreneurs and students who are working in the field, or aligned fields of engineering. Bandalang Studio supports work towards changing perspectives in the field of western engineering and engineering education.
The Project Officer will support the coordination of projects working with Indigenous and non-Indigenous researchers, students, communities and entrepreneurs, which are led by Bandalang Studio. This work will involve working closely with members of the Bandalang Studio community, Bandalang Studio advisory board and external rightsholders and stakeholders.
The Project Officer will provide operational support and management for projects in the Indigenous perspectives space, including project scoping and planning, stakeholder and communication planning and research activity coordination. This role will include a secretariat function.
