Holy Family School, Skennars Head, is a young school community that was born in 1997. The school serves the East Ballina and Lennox Head areas. We are a Parish Primary School within the St. Francis Xavier Parish of Ballina and within the Diocese of Lismore.
Position Overview
Teacher (Kindergarten)
Full time temporary position.
Commencing 31 August 2026 until 24 September 2027.
Maternity leave replacement.
Applicants Must
* hold a current NSW Working with Children Check
* have full accreditation with NSW Educational Standards Authority (NESA)
* comply with the Accreditation to Work Teach and Lead Policy upon appointment
Criteria
* have a knowledge of and commitment to the Catholic ethos and mission of the school
* able to work as a member of a committed team of professional teachers, dedicated to providing quality teaching and learning in partnership with the parent community
* understanding of contemporary pedagogy and the ability to differentiate and provide for a diverse range of ability
* a commitment to excellence as a classroom teacher
* effective classroom practice that fosters independent learners
* ability to creatively use ICT to enhance a rich learning environment
