We're looking for a Client Solutions Director to lead our high-performing client solutions team at News Corp Australia, overseeing the design and sale of integrated, insight-driven campaigns that connect brands with audiences in meaningful ways.
Responsibilities
* Leading a High-Performance Team – Provide strategic direction and mentorship to the Client Solutions team, ensuring excellence in campaign development, Go-To-Markets, and client service.
* Shaping Integrated Client Solutions – Oversee the creation of category-specific and client-led marketing campaigns that leverage News Corp's extensive print, digital, and content assets.
* Partnering with Sales & Strategy Leaders – Work closely with the Strategy & Insights Director and Group Client Partners to develop informed responses to major client briefs, ensuring our solutions align with business and marketing objectives.
* Driving New Business & Revenue Growth – Identify and proactively drive new opportunities, collaborating with Product, Brand, and Commercial teams to develop compelling solutions that increase market share.
* Building Strong Industry Relationships – Develop and maintain trusted partnerships with key clients, media agencies, and internal stakeholders across Product Integration, Editorial, Creative Production Services, Digital, Brand Solutions, Pricing, and Events.
* Leading Market Engagement & Advocacy – Represent and promote News Corp's Customer Value Proposition, ensuring we remain the media partner of choice for premium, content-led marketing solutions.
* Driving Innovation & Best Practice – Stay ahead of industry trends, champion new ways of working, and help evolve our approach to commercial partnerships.
Qualifications
We're looking for a senior leader with extensive experience in media, advertising, publishing, or marketing, ideally within a commercial, solutions, or sales environment. You should be a strategic thinker, skilled communicator, and natural problem solver, with the ability to balance creative storytelling with commercial acumen.
* Proven leadership experience – A track record of successfully managing and developing high-performing teams, with an eye for talent and the ability to mentor and grow others.
* Strong commercial expertise – Significant experience in media sales, commercial management, or strategic partnerships, with the ability to secure revenue, increase market share, and drive business growth.
* Creative and strategic problem-solving skills – A passion for content-led marketing and an ability to develop innovative, insight-driven media solutions that deliver results.
* Confidence in client and category business planning – Ability to lead major pitches, develop sales strategies, and execute long-term business plans.
* Deep media knowledge – Strong understanding of digital and print media, including the ability to leverage data, insights, and audience intelligence to inform solutions.
* Strong stakeholder engagement – Proven ability to build and maintain influential relationships with clients, agencies, and internal teams, ensuring seamless collaboration and execution.
