Grid Connections Manager Join BayWa r.e. Projects Australia Pty Ltd to spearhead development and construction of cutting‑edge onshore wind, solar and BESS projects across the NEM.
Responsibilities
Manage project scope, program, budget, and commercial aspects with technical brilliance.
Build and nurture relationships with industry leaders, NSPs, AEMO, contractors, suppliers and consultants.
Leverage established industry relationships to navigate and influence the renewable energy landscape.
Work on exciting projects in Australia and across other APAC countries.
Collaborate with our global team, sharing insights and innovations from around the world.
Support internal capability and process development; mentor peers.
Negotiate generator performance standards and participate in commercial discussions, including EPC and HV works contracts.
Qualifications
Over 5 years in grid connection of large utility‑scale projects in the NEM.
Successful negotiation of at least two grid connection agreements for large utility‑scale projects in the NEM.
Strong technical background in power systems and electrical engineering concepts, with knowledge of grid connection studies and power system models.
Regulatory knowledge of NEM operations and transmission/distribution network connection requirements.
Ability to prioritise multiple project workstreams in a fast‑paced environment.
