Mechanical fitters play a vital role in maintaining and repairing equipment at the crushing stations. They collaborate closely with other departments to ensure smooth operations and uphold safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Innovate and fabricate: Utilize workshop machinery to manufacture engineering components and contribute to various projects.
* Keep our assets running: Participate in preventative maintenance programmes, troubleshoot equipment breakdowns, and assist with fault reporting and repairs.
* Empower the next generation: Provide guidance and leadership to apprentices and trainees.
* Collaborate for success: Liaise with work coordinators on costs, scheduling expenditures, and assess the economic life and performance of assets.
* Document with precision: Ensure accurate completion of work orders and permits.
* Uphold quality and teamwork: Work within a collaborative environment, conduct inspections, identify problems, and implement improvements.
Requirements
* Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Fitting
* Current confined space and working at heights certifications
* Manual driver's licence
