We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team in Williamstown, VIC to take ownership of a key major project.
Reporting to the Contracting Manager, you will be accountable for end-to-end delivery; driving strategy, performance, and outcomes across all phases of the project lifecycle.
You will play a critical leadership role, ensuring alignment between commercial objectives, operational execution, and stakeholder expectations on a high-profile infrastructure project.
Your day will involve:
* Full accountability for safety, quality, program, and financial performance of a major project
* Driving delivery strategy, sequencing, and resource planning to meet programme milestones
* Coordinating internal functions to achieve project outcomes
* Managing key client interfaces, ensuring clear communication and strong stakeholder alignment
* Ensuring strict compliance with Boral's OHSEQ standards and project-specific requirements
* Identifying, managing, and mitigating project risks and opportunities
* Monitoring progress against programme with clear reporting on milestones, lookaheads, and critical risks
* Managing project cost control, forecasting, and commercial performance, including variations and claims
* Overseeing procurement, subcontractor performance, and operational execution
* Coaching and developing team members to drive high performance and accountability
What are we looking for?
* Proven experience delivering major civil or road infrastructure projects (asphalt/surfacing highly regarded)
* Strong commercial acumen with experience managing project cost, risk, and contractual obligations
* Well-developed understanding of industry safety, environmental, and quality standards
* Tertiary qualification in Engineering or a related discipline (desirable)
* Highly effective communicator and stakeholder manager
* Capability in project planning and reporting tools (e.g. MS Project)
