About The Role
The Project Manager - Student Management System is responsible for leading the delivery of a new Student Management System for Ikon Institute, EDU Holdings' Higher Education college. Reporting to the General Manager Student Services and Registrar, this role will act as the central point of coordination across internal teams and the vendor, ensuring alignment between system capabilities and organisational needs.
The Project Manager will drive both implementation and organisational readiness, including process design, user acceptance testing, data migration, stakeholder engagement and change management, to support a successful transition to the new system. The role is accountable for delivering the project on time and within scope, while ensuring strong stakeholder engagement, effective adoption, and minimal disruption to student operations.
Key Responsibilities
Project Delivery and Governance

* Develop overall project plan, timeline and milestones
* Ensure scope, deliverables and timelines are clearly defined and agreed by stakeholders.
* Track progress and ensure the project is delivered on time
* Report status of project to relevant stakeholders including the Executive Leadership Team
* Be the key liaison between Ikon Institute and the vendor during the project
* Oversee data migration and integration with key systems including the Learning Management System, Zendesk CRM and others.
* Ensure all project components are aligned to support a successful system go-live.
* Establish and maintain project governance structures, ensuring timely decision making and escalation where required.
Change Management
* Develop and lead communication and change plan, ensuring all impacted parties are supported throughout the project
* Partner with all key stakeholders including Student Administration, IT (internal and external), Learning Management System team, Student Experience, Finance, Academic team and external vendor project team
* Schedule and facilitate meetings and updates to ensure timely decision making, frequent communication and early risk identification
* Manage stakeholder expectations and risks
* Coordinate training and ensure readiness for go live
Risk Management
* Identify, assess and document risks and mitigation strategies
* Escalate critical issues and drive timely resolution
* Ensure dependencies are identified, tracked and actively managed
Team Management
* Lead and mentor the Business Analyst, Student Administration to ensure the successful implementation of the Student Management System
* Ensure team members adhere to deadlines and contribute to business process improvements
* Uphold EDU values, fostering a collaborative, high-service culture
Education, Experience & Skills
* Qualification in relevant field or equivalent experience
* Minimum 5 years' experience in project management, ideally in Higher Education
* Experience working with student systems in a Higher Education context
* Understanding of the regulatory environment of Higher Education including TCSI reporting
* Excellent people management skills with the ability to work with a variety of internal and external stakeholders
* Strong stakeholder engagement and communication abilities
* Proven ability to manage competing priorities and solve problems
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office365
* Cross cultural awareness
