i98FM Wollongong is hiring a Casual Radio Announcer. The Illawarra's number one radio station, i98FM is looking for a Casual Radio Announcer to join our talented team. If you have a passion for crafting a killer shift, you love playing the hits, your ability to work callers into a break like a pro is first class and you want to be part of a fun and rewarding team, then we want to hear from you RIGHT NOW
Responsibilities
Reporting to the Content Director, you will be responsible for the preparation and presentation of a daily shift at i98FM when required.
Demonstrate a high level of awareness of popular culture, social media and current affairs to devise and drive the development and implementation of unique and compelling show features and promotions.
Have a distinctive on-air presence that will appeal to i98FM listeners.
Devise and drive the development and implementation of unique and compelling show features and promotions.
Demonstrate self-management and the ability to change and grow so as to remain popular, relevant and compelling to the audience.
On-air experience for live radio show.
Have a sound understanding of Commercial Radio Australia\'s Codes of Practice and Broadcasting Standards.
Possess excellent time management skills and experience working to deadlines.
Have experience in building strong relationships with a diverse customer base.
Qualifications/Requirements
Skills in Zetta, Voxpro, Phonebox and G Selector are desired.
