We’re looking for a Customer Care Assistant who can confidently handle the front line of our client service—someone who thrives in a busy environment, solves problems with ease, and brings warmth and professionalism to every interaction.

Please note: If you’re a junior nurse seeking a pathway into nursing, this is not the role for you. Our Customer Care Team focuses exclusively on reception and client service.

About the Role

This is a role for someone who enjoys variety, challenge, and the satisfaction of being the first point of contact for our clients. You’ll be the calm, capable presence that keeps things running smoothly—whether that’s managing a busy phone line, greeting clients, or handling unexpected situations with grace.

Yes, you’ll see adorable puppies and kittens—but you’ll also be part of a hospital that provides emergency care, which means some days will be emotionally challenging. Your professionalism, empathy, and ability to stay composed will make all the difference.

Requirements

- Proven experience in a fast-paced customer service role.
- No veterinary industry experience required—we’ll teach you the animal-specific side.
- Strong decision-making skills and the ability to thrive in a busy, sometimes challenging environment.

The Successful Applicant Will

- Show us how they live our core values: compassion, humour, enthusiasm, respect, teamwork, and trust.
- Be available for part time (minimum 25 hours/week) or full-time work.
- Be willing to work weekends (1 in 4) once training is complete.
