The Role
We're currently looking for an Assistant in Nursing to join our team. This position requires the employee to undertake activities for which they have the legal authority and competence to perform (please refer to the Scope of Practice document). The person performing the delegated activity is accountable for his or her own actions and to the Registered Nurse (RN). Supervision means the direction and guidance given by an RN to an Assistant in Nursing (AIN). The supervision may be direct or indirect according to the nature of the work delegated to the AIN.
