Job Opportunity:
This position entails the installation, upkeep, and repair of mechanical systems and components across various mining operations in a safe and efficient manner.
Main Responsibilities:
* Frequent inspections of the work area to identify hazards, damage, and defects.
* Maintenance and basic repairs of pumps and compressors.
* Installation and maintenance of pipelines and associated equipment as directed.
* Assist with Butt and Electrofusion welding of plastic pipes.
* Diagnosis of faults and breakdowns.
* Undertaking repairs and component changeouts where necessary.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* A valid unrestricted Western Australian Driver's License is mandatory.
* Poly welding ticket is required.
* Previous experience in an Open-Pit/Cut mining environment is essential.
* Certifications in Forklift, EWP, and CN Crane operations are necessary.
* Basic computer skills are required.
