About Our Role
Our multi-disciplined team based in West Perth blends major materials‐handling and ports design projects with sustaining capital works and a range of exciting developments. Overland conveyors, new port infrastructure and highly sought‐after resources facilities provide opportunities for an experienced Engineering Manager within our Industrial division.
About You
* Previous experience as Engineering Manager on materials‐handling projects.
* Mechanical engineering background preferred.
* 15+ years in the engineering industry with majority exposure to resources/mining and materials‐handling preferred.
* Experience within a consulting environment.
* Previous role as Mechanical Lead Engineer on large projects is desirable.
* Ability to lead and integrate multi‐discipline design engineering teams, including sub‐consultants.
Required Experience
* Ensure all engineering work is completed on schedule, stays within baseline hour budgets, and adheres to strict change‐management processes.
* Direct interfaces between the engineering team and other project execution groups, such as Procurement, Project Controls, and the Client team.
* Guarantee that deliverables meet WGA's quality standards, review procedures, and safety compliance requirements.
* Lead technical meetings.
* Lead design and SiD reviews.
* Input and lead progress and schedule reporting.
* Own and manage the engineering deliverables list.
