Through our in-house telco brand PRITEL we design, build and support the carrier-grade network that delivers business internet, mobile fleets and cloud phone systems to clients across Tasmania and mainland Australia.
Key Responsibilities: Design, deliver and document scalable network voice solutions that underpin clients' cloud, security and digital-workplace services.
Build and optimise routing, switching and QoS policies across multi-vendor platforms (Cisco, MikroTik, Juniper).
Implement and integrate modern voice platforms (3CX, Teams, Asterisk) with existing PSTN / SIP trunks.
Plan and validate wireless and fibre links, ensuring performance, reliability and regulatory compliance.
Monitor service performance, troubleshoot complex faults and provide Tier-3 escalation on a 24 × 7 roster.
Produce network documentation, capacity forecasts and compliance reports in line with ACMA requirements.
Coach field staff and work closely with security, project management and service-delivery teams to meet SLA and customer outcomes.
Requirements: Bachelor degree (Telecom, EEE, CS) or equivalent industry experience.
3 + years designing/delivering IP transmission networks in an Australian carrier or MSP environment.
Solid grasp of VoIP protocols (SIP, RTP, SRTP, QoS, DSCP).
Proficiency in network monitoring and analysis tools Understanding of Australian telecommunications regulations Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
