The opportunity
As our Senior Consultant you'll operate as a fieldwork leader to assist clients in employing proper information systems, resources, and controls to maximize efficiencies and minimize risk. You will work with client personnel to analyze, evaluate, and enhance information systems facilitating the business internal control process and you'll learn from and assist clients and other Assurance and Technology Risk professionals in performing information technology control engagements. This role is based in Naarm – Melbourne. Our roles can potentially be adjusted to work flexibly with reduced hours. Please speak with us about potential options.
Your Responsibilities
* Operate as a fieldwork leader to assist clients in employing proper information systems, resources, and controls to maximize efficiencies and minimize risk.
Skills and Attributes for Success
* A Bachelor or Master's degree qualification in finance, business, accounting, IT or related discipline
* Professional accreditations and qualifications will also be considered favourably (CPA, CISA, CA, CIA, CISM, CISSP, CBCP, CIPP)
Ideally, you'll also have the skills and attributes below but don't worry if you don't tick all the boxes. We're interested in your aptitude, attitude and willingness to learn.
* A passion for emerging technologies and working within a team to advise clients on how to manage IT risks and accelerate performance.
* The ability to inspire teamwork and responsibility with engagement team members and use current technology, project management skills and tools to enhance the effectiveness of deliverables and services.
* Use knowledge of the current IT environment and industry IT trends to identify the engagement and client service issues and communicate this information to the engagement team and client management through written correspondence and verbal presentations.
* Canberra - Current Australian security clearance, or the ability to obtain one is required for the Canberra office. Please note, Australian citizenship is required to obtain an Australian Government security clearance.

Salary range for this role is AUD $102,500 to AUD $118,000 inclusive of superannuation dependent on skills, experience and work location.
