Cook/Chef Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Cook/Chef to join our team.
This part-time position involves preparing appealing, balanced, and nutritious meals for children aged 0-6 years.
You will play a key role in ensuring the highest standards of food safety and hygiene are maintained.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and prepare meals that cater to special dietary requirements and allergies.
* Ensure compliance with food safety regulations for the safe handling, storage, and preparation of food.
About You:
You must be an organised, creative, and enthusiastic cook who takes pride in meal planning and preparation.
Your experience in catering for children aged 0-6 years is essential, including those with special dietary needs.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Recognised training in food safety and nutrition.
* Demonstrated knowledge of nutrition and cost-effective menu planning.
* Understanding of the Education and Care Services National Regulations and Department of Health Regulations.
* Ability to comply with food handling legislation, childcare regulations, and centre policies.
* Friendly and approachable interpersonal skills.
