About the Role
You will report to the Registered Mining Surveyor and receive mentorship from experienced surveyors while expanding your skills with modern survey equipment such as Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS), Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems (RPAS), total station theodolites, laser scanners and related software.
Responsibilities
Provide accurate survey support and data in line with statutory and company standards to support mine operations.
Maintain survey standards in both field and office environments.
Conduct surveys using GNSS, total stations, terrestrial laser scanners, and RPAS technologies.
Take an active role in the daily running of the Survey Office.
Demonstrate a commitment to safety behaviours in the workplace.
Qualifications
A recent graduate or in the process of completing a formal surveying qualification (Diploma, Associate Degree or Degree).
Willingness to learn and apply a variety of surveying technologies.
Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Excellent time-management capabilities.
Passion for continuous improvement and technological advancement in mining.
Demonstrated commitment to safety.
Ability to pass an industry medical assessment prior to commencement.
