Today, Swan ChristianEducation Association (SCEA) is a not-for-profit association withmore than 5000 students, more than 1000 staff and seven schoolsacross the Perth metropolitan area. The Relief Admin Assistant'swill be asked to cover various administration positions on a casual basis. The successfulcandidate will play a vital role in supporting the daily operationsof the school, contributing to a culture of excellence,hospitality, and care.
Listed below are theposition's main administrative work duties. This list is notexhaustive and is subject to change with the changing needs of theCollege. Whilst each office staff member has been assigneddifferent key areas of responsibility, particularly during peakwork periods, staff will endeavour to support to each other and thecommunity with a servant heart.
KeyResponsibilities
* To professionally representthe College through personal presentation, telephone manner andcustomer service.
* To be part of theadministration team whose goal is to deliver a high andconsistent standard of service to parents, students, staff andexternal bodies.
* To participate inprofessional development and demonstrate the benefits of alltraining/learning opportunities where required.
* Provide efficient andconfidential administrative support to the teachingstaff.
* Liaise with teachers,students and parents where necessary.
To besuccessful in this role, you will:
* Demonstrate a living andactive Christian faith and alignment with SCEA'sStatement of Faith.
* Be a warm, approachable, andservice-oriented team player.
* Have proven experience inadministration or customer service roles.
* Sound interpersonal andcommunication skills and a confident telephonemanner.
* Show strong organisationalskills, attention to detail, confidentiality and meetdeadlines.
* The ability to work wellunder pressure and with minimal supervision.
* Work as part of a team,build and maintain positive client and teamrelationships.
* A flexible attitude withrespect to working hours.
* Be confident with officesoftware and open to learning new platforms.
* Have a genuine heart forworking with children and supporting their growth.
