The Opportunity
Our client is a well-established, highly regarded accounting firm known for their innovative, client-focused approach and warm, inclusive culture. They are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented EA/Tax Admin to support their directors and team across daily operations, compliance, client communication and workflow management.
You’ll be working from their beautiful Milsons Point office, with easy access to public transport and a genuinely friendly team who enjoy great social events and have impressive longevity within the business. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a close-knit, down-to‑earth office where you’ll be valued, supported and given room to grow. You’ll gain exposure to a broad range of client services, tax administration and business support tasks‑ far beyond a standard admin role.
If you’re someone who enjoys variety, thrives in a supportive environment and loves being the “glue” that keeps things running smoothly, this is the perfect next step in your career.
The Responsibility
As the EA/Tax Admin your duties will include but are not limited to:
- Preparing and lodging ASIC forms and company secretarial documentation
- Assisting with BAS & IAS tasks and general bookkeeping or accounting support
- Supporting directors with diary, email and workflow management
- Tracking deadlines, escalating urgent matters and maintaining organised processes
- Managing correspondence and documentation with accuracy and confidentiality
- Coordinating meetings, events and travel arrangements
- Preparing agendas, meeting papers and client packages
- Assisting with ATO communication and compliance documentation
- Supporting the team with scanning, printing, invoicing and general business administration
- Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders, clients and business partners
- Providing support and guidance to junior administrative staff when needed
The Expertise
To be successful in this role, you will bring at least three years’ experience in client services, tax administration or professional services administration, combined with strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills and a proactive, “can‑do” attitude. You’ll be highly organised, confident managing multiple priorities, and comfortable working both autonomously and as part of a supportive team. Strong MS Office skills are essential, and while experience with NowInfinity/BGL, ATO SmartDocs or Ignition is advantageous, full training can be provided. An interest in the accounting or professional services industry will also be highly regarded.
