The Administrative/Accounting Assistant plays a critical role in maintaining accurate records and providing essential administrative support to ensure smooth business operations. This position also manages purchasing, day-to-day accounting tasks such as entering invoices and credit card receipts, supports payroll and HR functions, and assists with document management and record keeping.
Minimum Qualifications
* High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree or higher in business field preferred.
* One to two years' experience in a support role and/or bookkeeping.
* Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word and Outlook).
* Prior HR and Payroll experience.
Responsibilities
* Record and categorize daily accounting transactions such as invoices, payments, and receipts accurately in accounting software.
* Purchasing.
* Assist with payroll processing and ensure timely submission of related documentation.
* Prepare and maintain employee files in accordance with policies and guidelines.
* Assist with HR hiring and onboarding process.
* Other administrative tasks as needed.
Full Time Position – 30-40 hours/week, flexible schedule with potential for advancement.
Pay Range $19-$21/hour.
