Project Planner Development Contributions
* Level 7 | Salary from $107,224 to $113,938 per annum, plus superannuation

About the Role
Under the general supervision of the Coordinator Scheme Contributions, the successful candidate will support the Development Contribution Plan (DCP) team through the application of relevant legislation, including but not limited to the City of Wanneroo's District Planning Scheme No. 2 (DPS No. 2) and State Planning Policy 3.6 (SPP 3.6).
Key responsibilities include assisting with the annual review of costs for existing DCPs, preparing scheme amendments, supporting the issuance of DCP tax invoices, and preparing acceptance letters for DCP‐funded Cell Works. All duties are carried out in accordance with DCP operational requirements, with regular engagement with both internal and external stakeholders.
About You
The successful candidate will require a developed understanding of town planning legislation and procedures, ability to read plans, including but not limited to subdivision, development and structure plans, can engage proactively with internal and external stakeholders and meet strict reporting timeframes to ensure statutory compliance with the City of Wanneroo DPS No.2 requirements. * Qualification in urban and regional planning (minimum bachelor level) or related discipline or equivalent;
* Demonstrated research and analysis skills;
* Ability to produce high quality documents which are user friendly and easy to understand;
* Good organisational skills and the ability to balance competing priorities;
* Exceptional communication skills with the ability to collaborate with a range of stakeholders to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
