About the Role
As a Lending Specialist at BOQ Group, your day begins with purpose—supporting customers through one of life's biggest milestones: buying a home. You'll be the trusted advisor, guiding them with clarity and care. From strategy sessions with your Branch Manager to meetings with community partners and clients, your role is all about building relationships that matter. You'll be immersed in the full lending journey, helping customers navigate their options, understand their goals, and feel confident in their decisions. Whether it's a first home buyer or a seasoned investor, you'll be there every step of the way—making the process seamless and stress‐free.
Your days might include reaching out to local businesses, attending community events, or following up with new leads generated through your business development efforts. You'll be the face of BOQ in your community, strengthening brand awareness and creating meaningful connections.
Responsibilities
* Support customers through the full lending journey
* Build and maintain relationships with clients, community partners, and local businesses
* Assess creditworthiness and structure tailored lending solutions
* Ensure compliance with regulatory and risk management standards
* Follow up on new leads generated through business development efforts
* Represent BOQ in community events to strengthen brand awareness
Qualifications
* Strong foundation in lending with deep industry knowledge
* Experience across the lending lifecycle from credit assessment to solution structuring
* Understanding of compliance requirements and risk management principles
* Proven ability to build trust and maintain long‐term client relationships
* Analytical skills with a customer‐first mindset
* Proactive, driven, and able to add value in a growth‐oriented environment
