Paediatrician Specialist - Out of Hours
The Child and Young Persons (CYP) Havens service is a leading provider of expert physical and mental health care and support to children affected by sexual abuse.
We are seeking a highly skilled Paediatrician to provide paediatric expertise during out-of-hours forensic medical examinations for victims of sexual abuse.
The post-holder will be responsible for providing expert advice to other professionals, conducting forensic medical examinations, and offering paediatric input to ensure the best possible outcomes for children.
Main Duties:
* Provide expert advice to other professionals regarding children presenting with allegations of sexual abuse
* Conduct forensic medical examinations for children under 13 or 19 with additional needs
* Offer paediatric input at forensic medical examinations
The on-call rota operates Monday to Friday during evenings and nights and all day at weekends and bank holidays. The post holder will be expected to undertake shifts, including at least one weekend day.

* Providing expert paediatric advice to other professionals
* Conducting out-of-hours forensic medical examinations
* Ongoing liaison with colleagues and external agencies
