Monday to Friday (7 hours per day, 7:00am – 7:00pm on a rotating roster)

Our NSW State Government client is seekingCustomer Service Representativesto join their dynamic team inMaitlandon an initial6-month contract, with the potential to extend.
You'll be the first point of contact for customers, providing exceptional service and support across a range of enquiries in a fast-paced contact centre environment.
Responsibilities
Provide high quality generalist service as the first point of contact for contact centre customers.
Receive inbound calls, obtain necessary information and utilise generalist knowledge to transfer customers to appropriate contact centre specialists in a courteous, accurate and efficient manner.
Undertake administrative work as required to support the provision of high quality service delivery.
Create a positive relationship in all customer interactions across all interaction channels, maintaining a professionally courteous and friendly manner.
Ensure client satisfaction as a priority as assessed and monitored through customer feedback.
About You
Looking for candidates with 2–3 years customer service experience (ideally within a high volume call centre environment)
Need excellent written and verbal communication skills
Previous gov experience is preferred but not required
Looking for candidates who have previously worked in an office environment
Intermediate computer skills required – Typing, using mouse and monitor, strong email etiquette
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Outlook and Teams
Specific software will be taught however contractors need to be technically savvy and have the ability to pick up systems quickly
