Heavy Vehicle Technician
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Heavy Vehicle Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in the repair and maintenance of heavy plant machinery and trucks.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out routine servicing, repairs, and maintenance on heavy vehicles and equipment
* Demonstrate excellent diagnostic skills to resolve breakdowns efficiently
* Maintain high standards of safety and quality in all work performed
* Collaborate effectively with colleagues and work independently as required
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Trade qualification in Heavy Diesel Mechanics, Plant Mechanics, or Fitting (essential)
* Strong hydraulic knowledge and practical experience with mobile plant, trucks, and heavy equipment
* Auto electrical skills (highly regarded)
* HR and Forklift licences (desirable)
* A proactive approach to safety and commitment to achieving high-quality results
