Job Title
A Manager of Engineering Services role has become available within our organisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engineering services efficiently, minimising costs and optimising product design, development, testing and issue resolution timelines.
About the Role
This is a pivotal leadership position that requires a high level of technical expertise, excellent communication skills and the ability to lead cross-functional teams. The successful candidate will manage the delivery of engineering services within the Future Clothing System program, ensuring all uniforms are correctly specified, fully compliant and meet or exceed quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver engineering services efficiently, minimising costs and optimising product design, development, testing and issue resolution timelines.
* Manage the Contract Engineering Management Plan, ensuring adherence to engineering methodologies and contractual requirements.
* Establish and maintain systems, processes and structures to deliver all engineering activities aligned with project milestones.
Requirements
We are seeking a highly experienced and technically skilled leader with a strong background in engineering management, quality assurance and technical governance. The ideal candidate will have:
* 8-10 years' experience in technical, engineering and/or quality management leadership roles.
* Strong experience with engineering standards and frameworks (EIA:632 process knowledge highly desirable).
* Experience working with Engineering Information Systems (EIS) or Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems (desirable).
* Expertise in quality control, quality assurance strategies and regulatory compliance.
* Proven ability to deliver engineering services within complex, contract-driven environments.
