As Superintendent Maintenance, you will play a critical role in ensuring the gold processing plant operates at peak efficiency. Job Statement About the Role As Superintendent Maintenance, you will drive strategic leadership in safety, operational excellence, and production reliability. Reporting to the Manager Processing, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring the gold processing plant operates at peak efficiency while maintaining the highest safety standards. Lead a high-performing team of tradespeople, planners, and technicians, setting the direction for maintenance strategies that optimise asset performance and underpin production goals. You’ll champion innovation, implement robust systems, and foster a culture where safety, accountability, and continuous improvement thrive. Your leadership will not only deliver safe and timely maintenance services but also position the operation for long-term success in one of Australia’s most dynamic gold regions. Key responsibilities also include: Ensuring safe, high quality work processes and procedures are maintained Manage all maintenance requirements for the crushing, milling and CIL gold extraction plant Ensuring maintenance targets are met including equipment availability and compliance requirements Oversee optimisation and long-term integrity of the Processing functions’ fixed assets Implementation and development of maintenance processes and systems Lead and mentor multi-disciplinary maintenance personnel, fostering a culture of safety, curiosity, and excellence Oversee the effectiveness of short and long term planning activities Cost control and inventory management in line with budgetary requirements Build collaborative relationships with processing and support departments This role is on offer on an 8 days on 6 days off FIFO roster from Perth to Leonora, based at our Gwalia operation in the Leonora region, where gold stories are written! You’ll also have the following: Substantial experience leading successful teams and driving safety outcomes in a similar role (in Processing Maintenance) Comprehensive understanding of budgeting, OPEX, CAPX, reconciliation, project cost management High levels of autonomy, initiative and self direction Sound understanding of CMMS systems (Pronto) Manual C Class Driver’s License Why join us?
