Overview

IT Support Technician (Level 1/2) – Cybersecurity-Focused MSP | Sydney

Osmicro Networks is a Sydney-based IT & Cybersecurity provider helping small and medium businesses stay secure and productive. We’re a close-knit team that values problem solvers who want to grow their skills in a cybersecurity-focused MSP.

What You’ll Do

- Provide remote and onsite IT support (desktop, network, Microsoft 365)
- Troubleshoot L1/L2 issues and escalate when needed
- Assist with patching, backups, and documentation
- Contribute to client cybersecurity best practices

What We’re Looking For

- Based in Sydney, with full Australian working rights
- 2–3 years IT support/MSP experience
- Solid skills in Windows, Microsoft 365, and networking basics
- Clear communicator with a customer-first approach

Nice to Have

- Experience with RMM tools (NinjaOne preferred)
- Familiarity with backups, MFA, or EDR/XDR (e.g., CrowdStrike)
- Cybersecurity certification (or working towards one)
- Yearly bonuses + ongoing training and career progression
- Hybrid WFH + onsite role
- Company laptop, phone, and headset
- Fuel reimbursement for client visits
- Access to leading tools (CrowdStrike, Azure, AWS)

Important

All shortlisted candidates will complete a 1-hour remote trial to test their technical skills.
