Job Title
Water Planning Engineer (2+ years experience) or Senior Water Planning Engineer (5+ years experience) – Integrated Water Planning Team, Melbourne.
Responsibilities
* Undertake hydraulic modelling for water and wastewater networks, including model build, calibration, and system performance assessment.
* Apply hydraulic engineering principles to assess, define, and resolve network issues.
* Prepare technical reports and presentations to communicate findings to clients.
* Provide technical mentorship to junior staff.
* Assist with building and maintaining strong client relationships.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Civil, Chemical, Mechanical, Process, Environmental Engineering or a related field.
* Minimum of 2+ years of experience in water and wastewater network planning and design, or Senior Engineer with 5+ years of experience.
* Experience with detailed hydraulic assessments.
* Design experience advantageous.
* Technical expertise in hydraulic modelling and familiarity with one or more of:
o InfoWorks WS Pro, InfoWorks ICM
o WaterCAD/GEMS, SewerCAD/GEMS
