National Account Manager – Woolworths
We have an exciting opportunity for a National Account Manager – Woolworths to join our ANZ Retail Sales team within our APAC Commercial business. This is a permanent, full-time role based at our Chifley Park office in Mentone, reporting to our Senior Business Manager – Woolworths.
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Develop and execute Joint Business Plans with Woolworths to drive sustainable sales, profit and category growth.
* Manage and grow the Sauces portfolio, delivering commercial outcomes through effective pricing, promotions and trade spend optimisation.
* Build strong, collaborative relationships with Woolworths Category teams to deliver mutually beneficial outcomes.
* Partner cross-functionally with Category, Marketing, Supply Chain and Finance to execute customer strategy and deliver key initiatives.
* Analyse performance, forecasts and market data to identify opportunities and improve forecast accuracy.
* Lead customer discussions and negotiations to optimise ranging, promotions and business performance.
* Be the voice of the customer internally, influencing decisions to drive growth and improve execution across the business.
* Travel to Sydney on a periodic basis to engage with key customer stakeholders.
QUALIFICATIONS
* Experience in FMCG sales or account management, with exposure to major grocery retailers (e.g. Woolworths or Coles).
* Experience leading customer accounts and owning customer business planning, with accountability for delivering commercial outcomes.
* Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to analyse data, identify opportunities and translate insights into action.
* Ability to build effective relationships and confidently engage and influence stakeholders, both internally and externally.
* Collaborative approach, with the ability to challenge and be challenged constructively within a high-performing team.
* Proactive and solution-focused mindset, with a strong sense of ownership and ability to drive outcomes.
* Ability to work autonomously while effectively managing stakeholder alignment and approvals.
* Ability to navigate a complex and fast-paced customer workplace.
DESIRED EXPERIENCE
* Experience leading Joint Business Planning end-to-end with a major grocery retailer.
* Familiarity with data and insights tools such as Circana, Quantium or similar.
* Exposure to forecasting or demand planning processes within a retail environment.
* Experience building strong partnerships with retailers and delivering mutually beneficial outcomes.
* Understanding of the food or FMCG category landscape.
