HarperLloyd Recruitment is a legal specialist recruitment firm working with private practice firms, and we are currently partnering with a highly regarded national law firm to find a Legal Assistant to join their Brisbane Family Law team in a full-time, office-based capacity.

Supporting both senior and junior fee earners, you'll play a key role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, excellent client service, and strong matter management in a sensitive and rewarding area of law.

The Role
Preparing, formatting, and finalising legal documents and correspondence
File management including archiving, safe custody, and digital systems
Liaising with clients, barristers, report writers, and mediators
Diary management and workflow coordination
End-to-end billing, including debtor follow-up and invoicing
Dictaphone transcription and general legal admin support
About You
A minimum of 2 years' experience in a Legal Assistant role (family law essential)
Excellent attention to detail and a strong sense of initiative
Confident client communication and a calm, empathetic approach
Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritise tasks
A team-oriented mindset and a commitment to professional excellence
