We are seeking a qualified and driven Procurement Manager to join our team. This role will be instrumental in driving the continued growth and success of the business by overseeing procurement operations, identifying strategic sourcing opportunities, and ensuring the efficient acquisition of goods and services in line with the business's operational and commercial needs.
Requirements
* At least 1 year of relevant procurement experience.
* At least a bachelor's degree.
* Ability to work in a fast‐paced environment.
* Fantastic communication skills.
* Proficiency in English. Additional language skills in Mandarin and a third language from a Southeast Asian country would be preferred.
* Ability to support the sales objectives and expansion of the company.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement purchasing and supply strategies to support the business's operational requirements and business objectives.
* Maintain appropriate stock levels of seafood, ingredients, packaging and other supplies in a cost‐effective manner.
* Negotiate with suppliers regarding pricing, quality, delivery timeframes and supply arrangements.
* Monitor inventory, storage and stock control systems to ensure continuity of supply and minimise wastage.
* Oversee purchasing records and stock movement to ensure timely re‐ordering and replenishment.
* Liaise with internal teams regarding purchasing needs, stock availability and delivery schedules.
* Coordinate with suppliers, central kitchen and logistics providers to ensure the timely receipt and distribution of goods.
* Supervise staff involved in procurement and inventory functions and monitor their performance.
* Ensure goods and related services are sourced efficiently to meet business and customer requirements.
