Casual Warehouse Operator - Afternoon Shift

We are looking for a full time Warehouse Operator with a positive attitude to work at our Enfield Distribution Centre. The successful applicant will be required to work the afternoon shift, Monday to Friday, 1pm to 9pm.
The main functions of this role will be picking stock to meet customer order requirements, forklift and manual loading of delivery vehicles, stock and inventory rotation, and inventory monitoring.
This is a secure position working with a friendly team in a challenging role.
Responsibilities
* Operating a forklift, including vehicle and container unloading.
* Stock rotation.
* Order picking.
* Inventory counts / stocktaking.
* Documentation and record keeping.
* GMP, quality, safety & hygiene control.
* Manual handling / stacking of finished product.
* Manual truck loading.
* Monitoring and reducing waste.
Key Requirements
* Must have a current forklift license (essential).
* Ability to follow written and verbal instructions closely.
* Be highly focused on safety, quality & hygiene compliance.
* Be highly focused on attaining production targets and efficiency.
* Troubleshooting skills and ability to use initiative.
* Sound knowledge of Transport Chain of Responsibility principles.
* Experience in a FMCG manufacturing environment preferred but not essential.
* Availability to work public holidays as required.
* Ability to work occasional overtime if required.
* Ability to work unsupervised when required.
* Ability to work as part of a team.

We offer competitive hourly rates to the right applicant (including shift allowances and overtime rates). Experience in a cool room or warehouse will be highly valued, however is not essential.
