About the role
Collaborating as part of the team to increase service capacity, addressing the acute needs of consumers 18 years and older who are experiencing a mental health crisis. Positioned within the acute care team and supporting the assessment and brief intervention for adult consumers and forward referral to Adult Mental Health Services or other appropriate external treatment providers.
Providing a range of specialist mental health interventions within a multidisciplinary team including triage, assertive outreach, comprehensive assessment, risk assessment, clinical formulation, management of risks and safety planning, brief psychoeducation and close liaison with all relevant stakeholders as part of collaborative care and discharge planning.
Care is provided utilising the principles of Trauma Informed Care and Recovery and in accordance with the National Practice Standards for Mental Health Workforce and the NSW Health Mental Health Competencies.

* Remuneration: $76,364.00 - $117,755.00 per annum, pro rata, depending on qualifications
