Join Our Team as a Services Assistant - Support Quality Care Across the Health Unit
Make a meaningful impact by delivering high-quality catering, cleaning, and laundry services that support patient care and maintain a safe, welcoming environment. This role offers the opportunity to gain hands‐on experience across multiple service areas and contribute to the smooth operation of the health unit.
About the Role
As a Services Assistant, you will provide timely and efficient catering, cleaning, and laundry services, including preparing and serving meals, general housekeeping, and linen management. You will assist with the operation of equipment, maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards, and support colleagues to ensure the health unit runs safely and effectively.
What We're Looking For
* Limited experience in housekeeping, cooking/catering and laundry.
* Basic knowledge of safe working conditions.
* Basic knowledge of Food Safety Standards.
* Basic knowledge of Infection Control Standards, including cleaning and sanitizing processes.
* Basic knowledge and commitment to customer service principles.

Appointment Requirements

* National Police Certificate (NPC) for employment involving unsupervised contact with vulnerable groups.
* Immunisation Risk: Category A.
