Aussie Rib House Pty Ltd is seeking a full‐time Chef for its Fremantle location. Join our energetic team where you will oversee food preparation, ensure quality, craft dishes, and deliver excellent service.
Responsibilities
* Organise kitchen daily; ensure all utensils and equipment ready for smooth operations.
* Prepare dishes, oversee presentation and delivery to patrons, maintain service standards.
* Monitor food stock levels, place orders, and manage stock rotation to minimise waste.
* Develop new and seasonal recipes and estimate costs to support menu development.
* Check food items for freshness; remove expired items to comply with health and safety regulations.
* Maintain kitchen cleanliness; enforce sanitation standards and equipment maintenance.
* Supervise kitchen staff; provide training and guidance to uphold performance and professionalism.
* Manage email inquiries, conduct research for new suppliers, and maintain accurate records of stock takes and incident reports.
* Report maintenance needs to the owner; oversee necessary repairs.
* Develop seasonal menus; handle ingredient sourcing, conduct stock takes, and manage ordering processes.
Qualifications & Experience
* Minimum 1–2 years in a similar role.
* Capacity to thrive in a fast‐paced kitchen environment.
* Strong attention to detail and maintain a positive, professional demeanor with colleagues and customers.
* Versatile, hardworking with a practical approach, dedicated to achieving optimal results.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills; proficient knowledge of workplace policies and procedures.
Benefits & Compensation
