About the Role
SCEE Electrical are looking for skilled and experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join us in our Sydney office on a full-time basis. As an Electrical Design Engineer with us you will play a crucial role in project development, growing tender activity and successful project delivery.
* Preparation of technical documentation and specification including schematics.
* Ensuring designs comply with applicable standards and client requirements.
* Working in conjunction with the estimating team to develop construction methodologies.
* Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues during the construction and commissioning phases.
About You
To be successful in this position you will hold a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering and have at least 5 years' electrical design and engineering experience within the electrical contracting, infrastructure or construction sector working on large-scale data centre or infrastructure projects.
* Experience delivering electrical design solutions for datacentres or other complex infrastructure projects.
* Strong technical, analytical and problem solving capability with the ability to interpret client requirements and develop practical engineering outcomes.
* Strong ability to engage and collaborate.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Ability to interpret the Project Contractual requirements.
* Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
* Strong organisational skills and a high-level attention to detail.
* Well-developed numeracy and analytical skills.
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a high functioning team.
* Strong understanding of Australian Standards. Able to work on multiple projects reporting to multiple project managers.
