Enjoy the beauty of country living, embrace nature, and be a part of a dedicated team making a real impact.Apply now and take the next step in your journey at Narrogin.This is a recruitment pool for Permanent Full-Time, Permanent Part-Time, Fixed Term Full-Time, Fixed Term Part-Time roles, with the possibility of extension(s) and/or permanency and casual opportunities.Appointments may be made from this pool until 31/03/2026.About the OpportunityThis role provides continuity of midwifery care within a caseload midwifery-led model throughout pregnancy, labor, birth, and the postnatal period. The Clinical Midwife works within the Midwifery Group Practice setting, supporting women either at home or in hospital. The focus is on providing safe, effective care in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, with a woman-centered, culturally appropriate approach.To be successful, you will have…Extensive experience and commitment working in midwifery-led, women-centered models of care, with advanced skills across the continuum of care.Knowledge of and demonstrated practice within the current Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia professional guidance for Midwives and the Australian College of Midwives National Midwifery Guidelines for Consultation and Referral.Experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, including understanding of the WA Health Aboriginal Cultural Respect Implementation Framework.Effective communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team.Commitment to quality improvement, customer service, and clinical governance.Current knowledge of legislative obligations regarding Equal Opportunity, Disability Services, and Work Health and Safety.What we offerThe Western Australian Country Health Service offers our employees a competitive salary and a range of benefits, including:Up to $9,010 in benefits covering mortgage, rent, and living expensesUp to $2,650 for meals and entertainmentAccess to novated vehicle leasing and pre-tax vehicle expensesFlexible working and leave arrangementsDiscounts across some private health care funds for WA Country Health Service employeesThe Country Nursing & Midwifery Incentive Program supports nurses and midwives in eligible roles with financial incentives ranging from $5,000 to $17,000 over 12 months.
