Responsibilities
* Coordinate activities of incoming and outgoing shipments.
* Direct movement of shipments from the shipping and receiving platform to storage and work areas.
* Verify and keep records on incoming and outgoing shipments and prepare items for shipment.
* Examine incoming shipments, reject damaged items, and record shortages.
* Examine outgoing shipments to ensure they meet specifications.
* Incumbents may be matched to this position if they are responsible for one of the functions instead of both shipping and receiving.
